It’s a local collective and Semin Hong are excited to present YUÁN: How long have we known home?, an immersive exhibition and community programme, in partnership with the Bomb Factory Art Foundation and Arts Council England.
YUÁN invites you to its calming journey into the heart of what it means to find 'Home'. The exhibition is a unique collaboration between local and immigrant artists, offering a diverse discourse on our origins, our present sense of self, and being.
Drawing inspiration from traditional East Asian gardens, the gallery space is transformed into an all-encompassing landscape. This immersive environment invites visitors to engage with art that reflects on the harmony between humanity and nature, mirroring the tranquillity and depth of historical gardens designed for reflection and beauty. Despite their differences, all works share the common eagerness to explore identity and a sense of belonging. They are carefully arranged to create a path for visitors to discover their own reverie of home.
