Bella Bradford
Bella Bradford (she/her) is a contemporary artist born in the West Midlands (UK) and currently resides in
London. In 2024 she graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art with an MFA in Sculpture, and
previously she studied BA Hons Fine Art at the University of Gloucestershire in 2020. Bradford’s work
explores material meanings, fashion trends, identity, and domestic objects, specifically including furniture,
through ‘dressing’ sculptural forms. 2024 also saw her have a one-day Solo show at Flowers Gallery as
part of their ‘Artist of the Day’, chosen by Olivia Bax. ‘Shmicks and Shmones’ was her first solo show
(2021), at the Bonbernard Gallery in Cheltenham. She has most recently shown in, ‘The Wall is Never
Innocent Unless’, in Farringdon, ‘Graduate Degree Show’ at Slade School, ‘Interlude’ at Lewisham Art
House, and ‘Interim Showcase’ at Slade School. Previously, ‘Graduate Showcase’ at Hardwick Gallery,
Cheltenham, and co-curated ‘Finders Keepers’ at Gardens Gallery, Cheltenham. Plus, virtual exhibitions
and seminars as part of Conscious Isolation, What I Wish I’d Known at Art School. She featured in ISSUE
6: PLAY, HAUS-A-REST Zine and Art Hole Magazine 3: August Edition (2020) and took part in SITE
Festival (Stroud) as part of collective O.W.N. (2019).
