LEARNING
The Bomb Factory Art Foundation proudly presents a comprehensive learning programme. Our mission is to promote greater access, engagement, and appreciation of contemporary art by bridging the gap between artists and local communities. Our Learning and Outreach Programme consists of three main components: our Schools Engagement initiative, our Community and Local Organisations Outreach, and our Internship Programme.
SCHOOLS ENGAGEMENT
The Bomb Factory Art Foundation has collaborated with numerous schools to pioneer an accessible arts education for all. We firmly believe that a one-size-fits-all approach to arts learning is outdated, striving instead to ensure that children from all backgrounds and needs have practical and immersive access to the arts. We offer outreach programmes to schools, providing interactive workshops and hands-on experiences that are offered both in our partner schools and in our gallery spaces.
Each of our sites actively engages with at least one school in their local community, fostering long-term partnerships and tailoring programmes to meet the unique needs and interests of the students. Through these collaborations, we aim to inspire creativity, foster self-expression, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
If you are a school or an educator who is interested in participating in our schools programme, please register your interest here.
COMMUNITIES
The Bomb Factory Art Foundation is committed to engaging the public and enriching communities through accessible arts education. Our resident artists facilitate a diverse array of classes and workshops tailored to learners of all ages, skill levels, and abilities.
Each Bomb Factory site actively collaborates with local community groups to pioneer dynamic arts programming that invigorates the surrounding areas. We partner with these organisations to provide dedicated space, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on workshops. Through these collaborative efforts, we aim to cultivate a vibrant, supportive environment where artistic expression can thrive and inspire positive change.
