A delicate duo show from Hetty Douglas, Bomb Factory Chelsea resident and Katie Eraser, Flesh and Time takes inspiration from Eileen Myles’ Notebook, 1981, exploring themes of loss, connection, queerness, and pain.
Their large-scale mixed-media paintings - combining paint, drawn elements, and handwritten text - feel like intimate pages torn from a journal. At a time when personal narratives are often curated and restrained, Flesh and Time resists the impulse to sanitise experience. Instead, it invites viewers into a raw, unfiltered space where feeling is valued, process is as vital as the final work, and personal stories take on universal resonance.
