Last Chance to Catch Our Unforgettable Show: One Nation Under A Groove
We’re thrilled to announce the finale of our Marylebone exhibition on Thursday, 31st October, with an unforgettable closing Halloween party featuring music by Linett Kamala and a special screening of Horace Ové’s film Black Safari.
As the first female DJ at Notting Hill Carnival, Kamala has paved the way for inclusivity in sound system culture. Her DJ set will bring the exhibition to a triumphant close, celebrating the spirit of One Nation Under A Groove and its mission to honor our richly mixed culture through music, art, and film.
This event marks the final night of a dynamic series we’ve curated throughout the exhibition. Highlights have included special film screenings and Q&As with directors Simon Chambers and Shahanara Begum (Every Good Marriage Begins with Tears), along with a showing of the fantastic documentary Rebel Dread, featuring the inimitable Don Letts as its star and spokesperson for music and culture.
As we bid farewell to this pivotal exhibition, we’re proud to have presented a mix of cultural experiences that embody the Bomb Factory’s mission—to spark meaningful dialogue, celebrate diverse voices in our community, and create a platform for outstanding art and culture for all to enjoy.
